Islamic Art And Culture By Liyakat Shah

Islamic Art And Culture By Liyakat Shah

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Islamic Art And Culture It has been since ages that the world had witnessed Islamic art and culture. In spite of several hardships and lack of equipments people had shown utmost love and care for Islamic arts and culture. Every country in this world has some or the other Islamic art exposed or hidden in it. A bright vision is needed by the people and historian to expose it and see the depth of Islamic legacy. Islamic art is filled with elegant master pieces to blend beautiful calligraphic, filigree work. The dome and tall minarets the rectangular columns, the roofs with beautiful creepers and floral designs is a majestic work of art and design. The historical buildings, gates, forts, monuments and mosques are marvelous pieces of their work that still stand today in spite of several centuries. The shine and look is so attractive that it makes a person pause and think as if it was built some days ago. The colors used in such work were so immense which also has an impact on human psychology. In spite of no resources and measures available they tend to make such vast buildings and mosques and forts. They had a mastery over their subjects. The material used for the historical work of Islamic art was more durable and everlasting which could bear any climatic conditions. Islamic art is that in which people had a profound knowledge of language, geometry, geography, science, and history. The objects which were made of various size, shape, pattern, luster and texture was logically so correct and perfect that we could not find any minute differences in comparisons of two identical things. For example the four minarets of Bibi ka Makbara at Aurangabad or the Famous Taj Mahal at Agra are of equal size and shape. When we have an Ariel view of such minarets it slightly bends exactly opposite sides of the dome of Taj the scientific reason for that is that if there is any reason to fall or by natural calamity, than the four minarets should not fall on the dome to spoil it. Hence it has been made in such a way that it should not spoil the beautiful Taj which stands since ages on the banks of river Yamuna. The beautiful calligraphic work is awesome. It shows that these people had a profound knowledge of all subjects. Today we people have to take care of this legacy and protect them from any harm by the people. Remember it is a precious historical gift to us so we must preserve it at any cost.

May Allah Subhanahu Wa ta'ala Have Mercy And Blessings upon whole Ummaah forgive all our minor and major sins and get a place in Jannatul Firdaus.

Misconceptions About Hijab By Liyakat Shah

Misconceptions About Hijab By Liyakat Shah

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

The literal meaning of melodious word Hijab means to cover. Hijab is the part and parcel of females residing around the globe. However there are many misconceptions about it in the minds of the people. Hijab has been used since ages and even today it is worn by muslim ladies in the world. Depending upon the time hijab has also undergone many specific changes from time to time, but the intention is firm and remains the same as to cover one's body. Democracy A Way Of Life By Liyakat Shah

Democracy A Way Of Life By Liyakat Shah

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Democracy as defined by Abraham Lincoln that it is for the people by the people and of the people. This is the literal meaning given by the famous learned scholar. India the land of multilingual linguistic grandiosity has experienced the caliber of holding the crown of largest democracy in the world. India's constitution almost cover each and every aspect of Indians. Recently India would go on by polls in hot summer season that is in the month of May. So the atmosphere is evenly hot and emotionally charged with Indian politicians and supporters. Since then a decade now the scenario has completely changed and now we have coalitions government in the form of many regional and national parties mingle each other not to let the opportunity go away from their hands. It is the history of India at any times of any general elections starting from Gram Panchayat to Member of Parliament the contestant showers his hypocritical attitude his love, care, affection comes out with flying colours to prove as if he or she is the member of our family or born for the cause of the people. In India every elections are being held after a span of every five years and every five years witnessed change in some or the other way. People in every constitutions are alert enough to scale the work of their representative. Only those people are being elected as their representatives who proves to be boost for peoples grievance or problems. Noways the situation has completely changed especially the way of canvassing and popularity has undergone drastic changes. The politicians cross their limits so they are being questioned by the Election Commissioner for breaking the Model code of conduct. They beg for votes by taking the help of religion. Development should be the core factor. We have margenilised the development projects and replaced it by those things that prove hinder for the developed society. What ever the party who ever the candidate may be the mandate should be clear and aim at developing and shinning India. Imagine all those 550 members chosen from each constituencies if focus on cause and development of India than a day would come when the dream of our freedom fighters would come true. Already India is suffering from various problems of population, malnutrition, poverty, unemployment, slums, shelter, water and so on. These are the things that can be irradiated completely had it being considered serious by these people. Voting especially by the youths should be must and its they that can bring change in sending qualitative representatives for the parliament. Just by neglecting that what is of use of our votes or what our single vote can do nothing are the symptoms of negative thinking. It is here that by voting you can answer to your problem, only those people that stand in terms of your caliber should be elected as representatives. Politicians on the other hand should keep the same momentum, zeal, service, co-operation throughout their life and not to have temporal behaviour but speak to the people by their work than by emotionally charged speeches. Its then only that we can repeat the famous words for India as a Golden Bird.

Veil Is Not Evil By Liyakat Shah

Veil Is Not Evil By Liyakat Shah

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

The recent remarks by the France President Nicolas Sarkozy regarding veil has hurt the religious sentiments of people not only in France but many but also people around the world. The issue of Burkha has kept floating suspicious questions in the minds of the people. However it is to be noted that never before Sarkozy any dignitary in 136th years of Parliament made such controversial speech in the parliament. According to him Burkha or veil would stigmatize Muslim people in France and he said he support from banning such garment to be worn in public. He considers Burkha not as a religious subservience. Here we people would like to ask the honorable President Sarkozy that what is his opinion about those naked or clothless people who wander on streets and do catwalks in and out of France during world cup soccer matches or any other grand functions many males and females romp naked with jubilation to celebrate their victory why does a person like president appreciates such brazen acts which displays some horrible extraordinary unwanted things. If this is their culture than veil is also a culture of Islam. Sisters especially in France should prefer wearing of veil to prevent our historical legacy. Every person in this world is born free and has the tendency to choose his or her attire; mere just by forcing what to wear and what not to wear is not to be decided any one. Islam never appreciates or allows females to show their thighs or bellies to any person rather than hubby. Hence people with such attitude should be given snub treatment or a time would come when these people would wrath against the government. These issues should be pondered seriously or situation would be drastic. It is to be noted that veil has no restrictions of any kind. How can women in Burkha be considered as prisoner. It’s a symbol of honor and respect. Moreover such baseless remarks would just create fierce debate in and around. France has the history of many European people an estimated of about 5 million people live there. The Parliament itself has differences over this issue Immigration Minister Eric Besson says that a full or complete ban on veil would just result only to create tension in the society. Veil is the Islamic traditions carried on from ages and how can we put restrictions or ban on such garments. It has great attachments with Islam and has being part and parcel of every Islamic women who resides around the globe. There are more important issues in France which is more important in France rather than veil. Such remarks would just disturb peace and order not only in France but also in abroad. Hence we people would request the President of France to reconsider his demand of such statement and not to play puppets with the sentiments of Muslim people around the world. We can say that "Veil is not Evil"

May Allah Subhanahu Wa ta'ala Have Mercy And Blessings upon whole Ummaah forgive all our minor and major sins and get a place in Jannatul Firdaus.

Education Is Must By Liyakat Shah

Education Is Must By Liyakat Shah

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

We are living in modern, scientific and technological age where the pace of the world is very high. Hence it is necessary for us to get education at any cost. Without education we are like body without soul. Education separates the ignorant person from learned one. It is rightly said that education gained cannot be stolen. Education is the back bone of every individual irrespective of caste creed or religion. Great strides have been done in many fields of science, computer, space, medicine, astronomy and many more because of education. In olden days there were no proper means of facilities and equipments available for education. But the educator and the pupil were very conscious to impart and gain education. The factual scene of today is different because everything is available to us at ease and comfort, but due to our laziness and pessimistic attitude we remain aloof. There are many dropouts from schools and colleges and sadly nobody bothers for them. Our children should be given proper guidance to guide them to right path for their future career. If the student fails in any examination he gets frustrated, distracted and his mind always tortures him which leads him to give up his education. This is the time where our children should be motivated and encouraged where they would feel that failure does not mean that we should give up, but it does means that we are having a fresh start. Our parents should also think about the future of their children. We should not expect every child as a meritious student because whatever he has performed it is his individual performance and it should not be compared with others. If comparison is done between two students then it would lead to frustration. envy, and mental disorder of the student. Hence whatever may be the performance of the student it should be appreciated and praised to give a glimpse of cheer on his or face. Because once the time goes away it would never come back again. Hence education is must and it should be gained at any cost.

May Allah Subhanahu Wa ta'ala Have Mercy And Blessings upon whole Ummaah forgive all our minor and major sins and get a place in Jannatul Firdaus.

United We Stand Divided We Fall By Liyakat Shah

United We Stand Divided We Fall By Liyakat Shah

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

India is a democratic, socialist and secular nation. But the present scenario is changed and now people of India think more in terms of their religion, community and so on. The feeling of oneness, co-operation, togetherness and many more things are vanishing away. Well we can't blame anyone for this situation rather we ourselves are to be blamed for these happenings. Because today there are many people who misunderstand Islam, they think that Islam teaches or preaches violence in any form, but it’s not true. The factual scene of Islam is totally different from the people that provoked that Islam teaches or preaches for any kind of violence. On the contrary Islam teaches humanity, brotherhood, compassion, love and affection for all living and non-living things including plants, animals and human beings. Many people misinterpret it to sow the seeds of divisions in the society. It is since ages that people of India live together irrespective of caste and creed. Many historical monuments, customs, traditions give us the clear example of our national integration. There is Unity in Diversity, which forms the base of our democracy. In spite of variation in food, customs and linguistic attitudes we are Indian. We should have respect, love and affection for all the religions preached and practised in India. Because every religion teaches good things, which is not a denying factor. Sports play a vital role in culminating national integration. Our teams of cricket, hockey and football have a bunch of different flowers or players irrespective of caste and creed. Though they are called by different names bust lastly they unite to form an Indian team, which gives spirit, zeal and boost their momentum to attain name and fame of our country and we feel proud of it. Hence every Indian should work whole heartedly for having a feeling of oneness and togetherness which would remove all obstacles from our prosperous and progressive path in all sectors of India. India is a land of cultural heritage because various castes, which are practiced here. Hence no religion like Islam should be termed as religion that favours or appreciates terrorism in any form. If antisocial elements are disturbing the peace and order of our country then without any investigations or introspection name of Islam is dragged and attached with it, innocent people are targeted which proves mess for them and their families. Islam does not approve violence in any form even cutting down of green trees are not permitted in Islam. For handful of miscreant people we can't blame the whole religion for it. Lets us pray to almighty God to remove all misconceptions from the minds of our fellow brothers and sisters. Unless we all unite and stand shoulder to shoulder than only it would be true to say that "United we stand and divided we fall"

May Allah Subhanahu Wa ta'ala Have Mercy And Blessings upon whole Ummaah forgive all our minor and major sins and get a place in Jannatul Firdaus.

Australians Attack On Indians By Liyakat Shah

Australians Attack On Indians By Liyakat Shah

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

The recent attacks by the Australian people on the Indian counterparts has raised many doubts and suspicious queries in the mind of the people. Moreover it has also defamed and proved peril for the Australian image in the international arena. Many news channels and media spells about the daily homework of abusive torture, threat, insult meted and cained to the poor Indians. The Island famous for flora and fauna of natural beauty has turn out to be a dens place for the Indians which depict the ugly face of racism which is not at all appreciated by any human beings or any nation in the world. It is not to be forgotten that all humans be it from any part is the children of Adam and Eve, than why such situation of differences prevailed in the western society. However it is to be noted that India the land of multilingual society with so many caste, creed, tribes, race live happily in our nation. Many foreign tourists comb daily in our nation, but not a single tourist feel solitary, insecure or frightened because we consider our guest as our crown and try to maintain the glory and dignity and blend friendly relationships with our guest be he or she from any part of the world. We Indians have no sinister thinking for anyone including foreigner or student as a tourists. Great leaders like Martin Luther, Socrates, Mahatma Gandhi, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, Nelson Mandela fought fearlessly and untiringly to demolish the walls of apartheid racism which sowed the seeds of divisions and separation in the society and obstructed all the developmental projects of the nation. Some nations do have specific laws enacted to curb racism. However it is to be noted we can't blame Australia or any nation for such happenings of racism because it is the outcome of handful of people who fail to understand the basic principles of liberty, equality and fraternity. Every nation has people with such mental agony however it is the responsibility of the bureaucrats and government in general to change and evade their minds from racism to internationalism to deceive a set of example of its own kind. They should reach at the grassroots level to tackle such explosive display of such horrible shows in their society or a state. On the other hand we Indian should not forget that we are stranger in abroad or any nation we reside and we have been there for either work or study so got to adjust with such situations and be calm, quiet, tolerant, kind, and humble enough to put forth our demands by using innovative methods giving by Mahatma Gandhi and not to lose our temper. Do come out with flying colours from your Alma mater or University. Our constitution sprinkles values of liberty, equality and fraternity it is a unique factor of our Indian society. Violence, attacks, hatred, torture are the measures that has given rise to more and more serious problems than to solutions. Stop racism and hug people be he or she black, white, or brown from any part of the globe on the grounds of humanity and universal brotherhood.

May Allah Subhanahu Wa ta'ala Have Mercy And Blessings upon whole Ummaah forgive all our minor and major sins and get a place in Jannatul Firdaus.

Madarsa On Verge Of Board By Liyakat Shah

Madarsa On Verge Of Board By Liyakat Shah

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Human Recourse Minister Mr. Kapil Sibal has an intention of setting up of a Central Madrasa Board to bring all the Islamic religious institutions under centralize rule. The HRD minister had a meeting with many Muslim ministers from ruling as well as opposition people and expert lawyers and clerics to discuss about the Act. He wants to modernise Madarsa, according to him the students passing from the so called Madrasa would get a certificate equivalent to CBSE which would be valid for further educational courses. However it is to be noted that many Ulemas had protested against this move by the HRD minister. It’s an intervention in one's religious sentiments which goes against the will of people as well as nation. Nowadays all these religious institutions are run on democratic principles within the frame work of our Constitution. There are special teachers known as Ulemas and Mauollemas to mould, teach, and guide the pupils by islamic teachings to make themselves as Kari, Aaleem, Fazil, Mufti and so on. Many Ulemas have criticized Sibal's view and did not favour centres view to centralize the Madrasa. It’s an independent organisation set up under the principles of our Constitution just having an intention to impart islamic education, mere personal gains and name and fame have no place in that institution. If all Madrasas go on verge of centralize pattern than whole of the policies, syllabus, curriculum, teachings, text would be according to the centre and indirectly it would be an interference in one's religion which goes according to the principles of democratic principles. If we practice religion of our choice than we are free to preach teach practice and form organisation of our choice is being taught in civics. Many people have a mix reaction as to why only Madrasas to go on Central Board why not other organisations of other religions. May be because they have misconceptions about it that it’s a dwelling place of antisocial elements. Islam never and never appreciated violence in any form be it physical or mental even cutting down of green trees are not allowed in Islam. Madrasas are the institutions that imbibe Islamic studies with reference to Holy Quran, Hadith and various Islamic books to make pupils as future Ulemas and Maoullema. There teachings are oriented by islamic legacy with reference to Quran such as love for living beings including humans, plants and animals, love for nation, love for society, love for humanity. Violence has no place in Islam. Islam is spread by sweet words and not by swords.

May Allah Subhanahu Wa ta'ala Have Mercy And Blessings upon whole Ummaah forgive all our minor and major sins and get a place in Jannatul Firdaus.

Home Sweet Home By Liyakat Shah

Home Sweet Home By Liyakat Shah

Recently the Pali Hill area in Bandra refused to confess a house to Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi there were allegations that the actor is a serial kisser which would have an impact on the children residing in that posh colony. However it is to be noted that in the complaint suit filed by Emraan says that he is shown the negative aroma because he belongs to so called minority section of the society, that is because he is a Muslim. The point to be noted is that there are many Bollywood celebrities residing in the Pali Hill area of Bandra the acts of things promoted in a cinema are based on values of fiction and falsehood. They have no relationship in there person life or things to impact upon the people or society. If people think that people or society would be spoiled or affected by such people than what about those television channels, movies and advertisements which shows abusive things which has a deep impact on the minds of children. Emraan Hashmi is human being first and second as actor, It is not to be forgotten that the small actors of Slum Dog including Rubina and Azhar were given flats for there outstanding performance for there Oscar winning film. But it took many days and months to get those flats inspite of assurance of given by people from Ministerial level from Maharashtra. Emraan's allegations are that because of casteism he has been denied a flat in Bandra But Emraan is a rocking star and who would not choose to be him as a member of society or a neighbour. India is a land of multilingual society people from any caste, creed, religion, race, tribe can live any where in our India mere caste has no hinderence in his or her stay.

Allowed To Keep Term ( A.T. K.T) By Liyakat Shah

Allowed To Keep Term ( A.T. K.T) By Liyakat Shah

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

The daring decision taken by Maharashtra Government that too Education department regarding A.T.K.T needs applause for it. The main reason is that failure student's academic year would not be lost and would be liable and considered mere just as they passed student if he clears the given subjects in the stipulated span. The students who failed either in any of two subjects may be in S.S.C or H.S.C would get a upper hand to clear the given subjects in an attempt to cope themselves with the passed students in the form A.T.K.T which means Allow To Keep Term so the pupil may be allowed to keep on his term to continue for further studies even if he or she has failed in either of two subjects. Education department called upon views from many educationists, scholars and learned people and took the historical decision. This intention just depicts us that the education department is so much concerned about the students and wants each one to be literate. In a rough estimate nearly lakhs of students would flow in for admission and would be benefited by this new scheme of A.T.K.T. More over they also plan to set up and add certain divisions for junior and senior colleges. Because the flow of admissions would rise up following the number of students clearing themselves by the new educational policy. This would also put an end the graph of drops out students. There are many students who give up education if failed in either of exam. The new policy of education would enhance the standard of Education and students may feel much relax and tension free because of the new procedure. This may also lessen the burden of studies because the pupil has to concentrate on specific two subjects. However it is to be noted that those two irrespective subjects also has 80/20 pattern which compromise theory and oral under that scheme the pupil has to just score marks from the given theory paper and also has upper hand from oral exam. Hence students of Maharashtra should make use of the best of best opportunity which is knocking their doors for grand success to bring changes in their life.

May Allah Subhanahu Wa ta'ala Have Mercy And Blessings upon whole Ummaah forgive all our minor and major sins and get a place in Jannatul Firdaus.

Unemployement A Blot On Society By Liyakat Shah

Unemployement A Blot On Society By Liyakat Shah

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Unemployment is a blot on Society If we take the literal meaning of unemployment it would be as a well qualified person who remains jobless would be termed as a unemployed person. There are many factors responsible for the ongoing employment. Daily we find students and people passing out several examinations or technical courses. But finds very complicated to find any job of his or her choice. There are many causes for growing unemployment. The alarming population is one such reason. There are few handful seats vacant in any Government or private sectors but the applicant and application reaching are ten times greater than the post. We find thousands of people applying for one single post. Another reason may be now a day’s qualified person just runs after Government jobs on account of various facilities and pension and so on. In private sector they have many misconceptions about jobs. Another reason may be corruption which adds fuel to unemployment. People just reserve their jobs by paying huge amount of money and thus their post is reserved. Personal gains, relatives, relationship, money play a vital role for their selection procedure. Here they are counted in terms of quantity and not in terms of quality. The real candidate is denied from the selection level. The whole procedure of selection is just for show off and lacks in reality shows. Paper work is kept up-to-date and very often records are maintained. The other people who come for an interview in response to the advertisement often dream of getting job in future but it just dreams and never come true. Another reason is that guys should be positive to do any work be of his choice or not. Be practical in life take example of China which is densely populated country is an example of its own kind. Even though it is first in terms of population in the world there the people utilize their precious time in doing any job, work which they like or dislike. We should take a lesson from them. We should adjust you with any work a day will come when success will be in our hands. Similarly there are many jobs in private sectors which pay a nice handsome salary according to our calibre. It is through these measures that we can solve the problem of unemployment.

May Allah Subhanahu Wa ta'ala Have Mercy And Blessings upon whole Ummaah forgive all our minor and major sins and get a place in Jannatul Firdaus.

Population Explosion By Liyakat Shah

Population Explosion By Liyakat Shah

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

India ranks second in the world population and very soon we will be overcoming China in terms of growing population. On growing population is a blot on society it hinders our progress and blocks all the development projects. There are many drawbacks of on growing population. On growing population cannot fulfil the basic needs of human beings such as food, shelter and clothing. Lot of people remain poor they could not get proper food to eat and shelter for dwelling. Unemployment is one of the serious problems arise due to on growing population. Vacant seats are few and applicants are in large number. People remain jobless. Big cities like metros and Cosmo cities are most affected by population. People migrate from villages to cities in search of job and jobs are easily available in big cities thus big cities are always over crowded. Population also gives rise to slums people find difficult to satisfy their hunger lot of people remain foodless and waterless. There is shortage and scarcity of water as well as food and shelter. Load shedding is one of the serious problems going on in many states in India. Population should be kept under control. There should be general awareness program at mass level people should be educated on growing population. Media should play a vital role in educating people about growing population. Nations with growing population cannot progress because resources felt short to meet the growing population. Hence every person should think about the crises of on growing population and try to adopt certain measures to prevent the on growing population.

May Allah Subhanahu Wa ta'ala Have Mercy And Blessings upon whole Ummaah forgive all our minor and major sins and get a place in Jannatul Firdaus.

Heaven Lies Under The Feet Of Mother By Liyakat Shah

Heaven Lies Under The Feet Of Mother By Liyakat Shah

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Mother the lovable word itself symbolizes a human being with soft heart, hard worker, honest, careful and many more qualities present in her. Mother is most respected personality in the whole world. It is rightly said that "Heaven lies under the feet of a mother". If mother is heaven than father is the gate of heaven. If we speak of mother than an image comes in front of us, She gets up early in the morning. She is busy from dawn to dusk. She is busy for the whole day for doing various activities. She feeds her kids and family members. She just wants the family to be happy. No other human beings in the whole universe can take place of a mother. Be it any season she is never tired by her unending work. She does all hard manual work. She sleeps late night and gets up early in the morning to do all chorus. She is called by different names around the globe and also has celebration in the form of Mother's Day when people around the world remember their mothers. There are many poets who wrote famous poems, notes, and articles on mother. Mother is most loved and respected person all over the world. Mother's place cannot be claimed or taken away by any one, if such as those people who do not have mother. Even the topmost people such as Prime Minister, President, Diplomats, and Ambassadors are also sons or daughters of their mothers who nourish them so to become that person. It says us about mother's position in national and international level.

May Allah Subhanahu Wa ta'ala Have Mercy And Blessings upon me and whole Ummaah and forgive all our minor and major sins and get a place in Jannatul Firdaus.
